Reflections on The Retirement Party
My uncle Gerry retired earlier this year. His celebration party was in August. I was very happy to be there. Why? you ask. Well because so many of his peers commented on him being a Godly man and a man of integrity. I was thrilled to hear it. His wife praised him for being a wonderful father to their children.
I was thankful to be a witness during this time of celebration.
Congratulations Gerry!!
We love you.

Our Fathers
Our fathers were invited and showed up for a celebration we gave them. Willie Lewis Mouzon is 85 years old and the senior of the Mouzon family. He as well as seven of his eight children were at this celebration. Many, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and even one great-geat grandchild attended this special occassion.
Fathers you make a positive difference in the lives of your children, grandchildren, and in the lives of others in your familys.
We love you our fathers and father figures.

Resurrection Sunday
Resurrection Sunday 2009 was awesome! Pastor McClurkin finished his series on the Twelve Things We Need to Recover.
For those who attended Sunrise service I heard it was awesome.
For those who attended the Potter's House dedication of their new site - it was totally beautiful. Aunt Pansy and Uncle John definitely have the Spirit of Perserverance.

Memories from April's First Sunday
Pray through difficult times and share. Someone may have more insight since they are outside of the situation.
Reading God's word and praying help us to grow and mature in relationship with the Lord of our lives.
Excuses get us NOWHERE.
Our children can and do learn the way of God, the word of God ONLY if we make it important in our lives - then it'll be important to them (just like any good thing you have to MAKE them do it).
One last thing, Moma Sadie's plant is THRIVING under the wonderful care of Wilbur (my daddy!!)

First Sunday Dinner and Prayer
Since January we've been meeting for prayer and dinner on the first Sunday of each month. Each time we've grown in number - Thank God. Last First Sunday, March 1, 2009 we had 5 generations of Mouzons in one house. The oldest, Willie Lewis Mouzon, the youngest CJ's daughter.
Can we do it again?
We'll see, since first Sunday is this Sunday.
See you at Ma's house.
